We are proud that Happy Earth carries the NATRUE certification, but what does the NATRUE label mean?
NATRUE (The International Natural and Organic Cosmetics Association) is a non-profit organization with the mission: “to protect and promote natural and organic cosmetic products for consumers worldwide.” They certify natural cosmetic brands and check if the ingredients are truly natural. It is the strictest international label for natural cosmetics currently available.
We find this very important because it allows us to demonstrate and guarantee that our products:
- contain 100% natural ingredients and that the ingredients are sustainably grown
- are not tested on animals
- have a human- and environmentally-friendly production process
- do not contain (harmful) substances such as: genetically modified ingredients, preservatives, silicones, and synthetic fragrance and colorants.
