We are proud that Happy Earth carries the NATRUE certification, but what does the NATRUE quality mark mean?
NATRUE (The International Natural and Organic Cosmetics Association) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to “protect and promote natural and organic cosmetic products for consumers worldwide”. They approve natural cosmetics brands and check whether the ingredients are really natural. It is the strictest international quality mark for natural cosmetics that currently exists.
We find this very important because it allows us to demonstrate and guarantee that our products:
- Contain 100% natural ingredients and that the ingredients are grown sustainably
- not tested on animals
- have a human and environmentally friendly production process
- contain no (harmful) substances such as: genetically manipulated ingredients, preservatives, silicones and synthetic fragrances and dyes.
