There is so much eco-jargon out there that it's hard to see the wood for the trees. We want to contribute to clarity and help to make more conscious choices by explaining our choices!
SUSTAINABLE INGREDIENTS
We only make products with 100% naturalingredients. When you apply something to your skin, it's nice to know that it doesn't contain any polluting and annoying ingredients such as chemicals or other nasty additives.
We only make certified products with a recognized quality mark. Then you know for sure that the promise is actually kept.
Natrue is the strictest and most transparent international quality mark for natural cosmetics. Natrue guarantees the origin of ingredients and prevents greenwashing.
Products with the Vegan Society label are guaranteed to contain no animal ingredients and have not been tested on animals.
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
We opt for sustainable packaging:
Recycled plastic reduces the production of virgin (new) plastic and removes existing plastic from the waste stream. Choose 100% recycled plastic, plastic-free or preferably zero waste packaging if possible.
SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
We make our products close to home and produce in the Netherlands.
This prevents unnecessary transport and CO2 emissions. This also guarantees good working conditions.
